As if shopping at home on the computer wasn’t addictive enough, now iPad users can search dozens of Amazon’s categories, compare and purchase from anywhere you happen to be. Shopping for appliances at a retail store? Check the same or comparable items against Amazon’s vast selection and read customer reviews to decide where you can get the best buy. Stuck waiting at the doctor’s office? Do your holiday shopping early with Amazon’s secure server, plus have your gifts wrapped and delivered. Bored waiting for a lunch date who’s always late? Listen to music samples or watch movie trailers on your iPad. The app is free at the App Store—you still have to pay for all the stuff you buy using it.
