Tips & Tricks was previously released for the iPhone, and it comes at consumers again this time with tweaks for the iPad. It has over 70 tips in its arsenal to help you. The app is very easy to use, as one would wish it to be since many beginners will be using it. The layout is interesting because it looks like an actual book. You can swipe at the page to move along within the app, or simply tap it. The app can also be viewed in portrait or landscape mode, and it has a full screen mode if you want a larger view of everything. Tips & Tricks keeps its book theme by breaking up its content into chapters that are easily accessible. The Shortcuts chapter gives tips on how to speed up your usage of the iPad and access features quickly. The Troubleshooting chapter gives insight on how to correct problems when they arise. The Safari chapter offers help on how to maximize your internet navigation. The Typing chapter offers keys on becoming a better and more efficient typist on the iPad. Mail gives you tips for communicating with others via the iPad, and the Battery chapter tells you how to maximize the iPad's battery life. All of the tips are explained in detail so as to eliminate any possible confusion. Visuals are also given to help you even more. If you see a tip that is new to you and you think it might help someone else, there is an “Email this Tip” option on the screen that will let you share it.

Although some might find that some of the tips and tricks offered by the app are stale, it does have plenty of unique ones, and they promise to deliver new ones as they come. Tips & Tricks iPad Edition is available for $1.99, and is a good app to have if you are just starting out with the iPad and looking for some ways to help you reduce the device's learning curve.
