What does TweetMag do? TweetMag transforms Twitter from it's bland layout into a very nice looking magazine of media and articles. Basically it converts Tweets into a sharp looking magazine style format. Sure there are lots of Twitter apps available but TweetMag really stands out from the rest. This app creates various different categories which make it simple to explore content that is outside of your own Twitter network. You have the ability to perform searches on local events and news and you can choose to view the articles as full web pages or in a simple view. TweetMag will also show you retweets in context which will help you keep track of whats going on. Another nice feature is that TweetMag can pull in videos from other sources such as Vimeo or YouTube. You can share the articles by retweeting, emailing or adding them to InstaPaper.

Some additional features of TweetMag are: • The ability to explore your own TweetMag based on people you are following • Browse curated TweetMags and trending terms • Add any TweetMag to a rack that’s accessible with one simple swipe The design and layout of TweetMag is smooth looking and quite nice. If you are a Flipboard user you can have both apps on your iPad and decide which one you want to use at any given moment. TweetMag will be a new challenger for apps like Twitterific, Tweetdeck and the plethora of other Twitter apps that are available for the iPad. At this time reviews of TweetMag are mostly positive. The one negative aspect is that sometimes the app hangs up and is slow when you want to download content. Hopefully this issue will be addressed in future updates.
