iPad App Review: Best reminder app for iPhone available for the iPad

The application for the iPad has been given a completely new interface that looks a bit like the official version of the Twitter app with a vertically positioned navigation bar on the left hand side and a central panel that allows you to customize and add your timers and reminders. The bar that is visible on the left hand side allows you to switch between different sections of the application and also the Settings have its own designated tab.

You are probably aware that Due automatically syncs with the Dropbox when you open and close the application. Hence, in the event that you are running both the iPad and iPhone versions of this application, do not expect changes to happen simultaneously. It is advisable that you refrain from using both versions of Due and only stick to using one version of the application to ensure that you do not encounter any issues of sync conflicts. That said, the process of sync is extremely reliable and swift enough to allow you to switch between devices in a matter of seconds. Apart from the design aspect of the app, Due for the iPad remains that same in terms of functionality and ease of use as in the case of iPhone. There are considerable amounts of interfacing elements that are still the same and this will ensure that you will be comfortable when you are using Due on your iPad.

The update brings with it a substantial amount of improvements and fixes like the new feature of double tap to allow editing timers and reminders, the option of relaunching the application in the previous state and additional undo support. While making new reminder additions, the application will automatically open a ‘quick panel’ to enable snooze customization – this is truly a much needed addition. With each release, Due only seems to be getting better and better. This is all the more the case in the iPad’s version.
