The most expensive of the lot at $119.99 this case definitely combines functionality with beautiful design. iSkin Aura is certainly the most classiest folio case around. With three different colors available carbon, sienna and bronze you are spoiled for choice. The most unique feature of this case is that apart from the normal set of positions, you can actually get in a typing position with a ‘privacy screen’ covering your iPad’s screen so that the person next to you won’t know what you are typing.
Whom is this expensive case for? For someone who is ready to pay for high class and a perfect mix of design and functionality.
2) ZooGue Case Genius, v2:
This a reasonably priced ($49.99) folio case for the iPad. What makes this case unique is that you can literally position the iPad in any angle you want. You also have a set of velcro tabs which can strap your iPad anywhere, for example to the headrest of a car seat to make it a portable video player.
The same velcro starts getting inconvenient with it sticking to any cloth surface. Also the material of fabric on the underside of the case makes it very difficult to clean.
Whom is this case for? For someone who wants a reasonably priced case which is highly adjustable to get different viewing and typing angles.
3) NewerTech The Pad Protector:
This is the cheapest of the three cases with a leather exterior and suede interior lining along with a screen protector free with it. This is similarly built to the standard Apple iPad Case except for the fact that it is a bit thicker due to the leather.
The one unfortunate aspect about this case is that because it has a magnetic closure system, the magnets may or may not affect the inbuilt compass of the iPad. NewerTech insist that it does not but you can’t be sure.
Whom is this case for? For someone who enjoys a relatively thin case with a leather finish and which does not burn a hole through his/her pocket.
So those were three folio cases to protect your iPad. Are you using something else which looks good and works efficiently? Then please mention it in the comments section below.| 100% of voters think this story ROCKS! |
