After reviewing several accessories in the past, recently seeing what SwitchEasy has to offer has been refreshing. The company really seems to know what they're doing and has produced some protective iPad products that not only look great but offer plenty of extras as well. The TRIG follows this tradition, just like its Reptile and RibCage counterparts that we just reviewed. As far as looks go, the TRIG has just the right combination of subtlety with flash. Its exterior has a nice leathery look with some shine to it that looks great under direct light. Some thick stitched patterns add a soft aesthetic touch as well. Unassuming types will enjoy the black color scheme the most, but SwitchEasy also produced the sleeve in some other, wilder colors that can really draw attention: Arctic, Magnesium, Mustard, Blue, and Viola. The TRIG protects the iPad well enough so that you can transport it while traveling without having to worry about getting it damaged. Reinforced panels help against any bumps and dings you may encounter along the way. So that the iPad remains unscathed from scratches while inside the sleeve, SwitchEasy went with soft padded lining. This lining also ensures that you can take the iPad in and out of the sleeve quickly without ruining its display. For extra functionality, the TRIG can also be transformed into a stand. The transformation process is quick, and it allows you to view the iPad in either portrait or landscape modes. When you're done, you can convert the TRIG back into its sleeve form, store the iPad, and be on your way.

As with other SwitchEasy products, you get a ton of extras when purchasing the TRIG. It comes with a microfiber wipe for removing smudges and other irritations on the iPad's display. It also comes with an anti-static Screen Guard that will help you protect the iPad's display from scratches. You also get a Squeegee for when you want to clean the Screen Guard periodically. The TRIG is available at a retail price of $39.99. The sleeve's high quality and looks are hard to deny, and it provides plenty of protection for the iPad. Its dual-functionality as a stand is also impressive. Throw in the Screen Guard and the two cleaning accessories, and you have yourself a well-rounded package to help care for your iPad.
