The Reptile is quite a looker and is one of the more attractive cases on the market. Its protective backing has a crocodile skin texture that really gives the case a modern “look at me” aura. To suit different tastes, SwitchEasy offers the case in five different color schemes: black, white, emerald, tan, and viola. Tan is a personal favorite, as it really brings out the crocodile skin texture the most and is just the right mix of flair and class. Although the crocodile skin texture on the back looks great, it is also very functional, as it provides an extra grip while holding your iPad. The Reptile is not just looks. It really does protect the iPad to a high degree. The case's inner shell is composed of adaptive dynamic soft polymer that keeps the iPad protected snugly without being too harsh or scratching it. The front, meanwhile, is a GE Lexan polycarbonate UltraFrame that offers a strong seal and helps protect the iPad on all sides. It's not recommended that you go ahead and drop your iPad to test the case's strength, but it should definitely suffice for daily travel and most unexpected bumps and bruises. Installing the case is a quick and painless process, and once finished, you will have access to all the necessary ports and buttons for full functionality.

Although it seems as if many accessory manufacturers overcharge for their products, SwitchEasy seems to do the opposite. They really do a great job of including tons of extras in their packages that make their products a great value. Besides the Reptile case itself, SwitchEasy includes much more. There is an anti-static Screen Guard that can be placed over the iPad's display for extra protection. You also get a Squeegee to clean the Screen Guard. A microfiber wipe is included for when you want to directly clean the iPad's display and remove any smudges. To give your hands a rest, there are two portable fold-out stands included. One is white and the other is black. Last, but not least, the Reptile comes packaged with two headphone jack protectors and two 30-pin connector protectors. With great looks and solid construction, the SwitchEasy Reptile is a great add-on for the iPad. At $39.99, it's a great value when you consider all of the additional accessories it comes with.
