iPad Accessories: Sena Leather Folio is Beautifully Crafted

I hate to admit it but people do seem to view the iPad and any of its accessories as a fashion statement. Celebrities such as Christina Aguilera have been photographed adorned with their naked white iPads, clutching them in the same way they may clutch a stunning (and expensive) Versace Handbag. The Sena folio is not in the same league as a Versace, and in any case Versace don’t yet produce an iPad case (how long will it be though). Instead, this folio gives off the impression of high powered executive, perhaps a media professional or a financial ninja. Sena’s leather folio is made to an exceptionally high standard. It is accurately and subtly stitched, giving the folio strength and a lovely finish. The leather is soft and flawless, and gives off a delicious aroma straight out of the box. As a folio it opens up to reveal the iPad on one side, and a documents sleeve on the other. The sleeve has slots for credit cards and any company ID you may have. The iPad slides neatly into the folio, held in position by a leather surround and a light reflective acetate. The reverse of the folio is lined with velvet to protect the back of your iPad. The sides of the folio leave slots for access to the various iPad ports and switches, with a lovely little cut-out providing access to the power switch. The folio can fold right back, providing a back rest for the iPad and giving it the elevation necessary to make typing easy. This is a beautiful piece of gear and definitely occupies a place at the top of any accessories range. The only very minor niggle is the difficulty in persuading your iPad into the folio in the first place – it’s a very tight fit! This folio is on the expensive side at $99.99, with and additional $9.99 for international shipping. If you’re a downtown hip young professional, this is the folio to get.
