iPad Accessories: ProClip holder for iPad keeps your iPad safe and secure

ProClip specialises in making holders for vehicles and already produces iPhone and iPod holders. Their new range for the iPad is available in black or white cradle mount and come as multiuse. This means you can use them to mount your iPad in your vehicle or in your home, for example in your kitchen when you’re using the Epicurious app. For inside your vehicle, these cradles allow you to fix your iPad to your dashboard, or to the back of the front seat. You can do this by using ProClip’s modular fixing system, another useful feature. This is great if you’re on a long road trip and you need to keep the children happy – play them a movie! One of the major selling points of the ProClip cradle is its safety features. Messing about with an iPad on the passenger seat or on your lap can be pretty dodgy: get it up on your dashboard so you can keep at least one eye on the road. The cradle tilts to give you optimum visibility, and the iPad slides in and out with no bother. Another advantage of running your iPad 3G in an upright position is that it receives better connectivity. The obvious downside is simply the larger size of the iPad, meaning that the cradle needs to be that much bigger. This is fine if you drive an SUV but not so great if you’re in a smaller city car. For me, I’m happy with a sat nav mounted on my dashboard. So I’ll be using mine as a small screen back seat cinema. When the kids get board of the movie, they can always pull it out and play games. And a quiet peaceful drive is enjoyed by all!
