iPad Accessories: iPad LapWorks Recliner is totally laid back

LapWorks describe their Recliner as “the Lazy Boy of iPad loungers”. The viewing angle is adjusted sliding the rear stand along the recliner. The whole idea of this product is to position your iPad in such a way that you don’t have to lean your back in an unnatural curve. Depending on how tall you are, how high your table or desk is, how high you are seated will depend on the exact angle you will need your iPad. This explains the major selling point of this recliner.

I think there are other joys about this cradle that make it a good buy, not least its great design and firm build. Made of silver colored ABS plastic, this cradle looks great as an iPad accessory, complete with its black rear stand and front ledge. It is cushioned with rubber to protect your iPad and to make sure it doesn’t move, and your iPad will fit happily in both portrait and landscape modes. A similar rubber strip runs along the top to seal the ‘no move’ deal.

There is a 6 months guarantee provided by LapWorks against defects. This seems a bit rubbish as most warranties are surely 12 months. That aside, I like this cradle. It looks good alongside your iPad, and call me shallow but looks matter…

The regular price for this LapWorks iPad Recliner is $34.95. However, if you go to the LapWorks website, they are currently offering a sale price of $29.95. This may be the exact desktop holder you’ve been looking for if there are a number of users for the same iPad, maybe your family who are all different ages and heights. Just readjust for each user and you’re off.
