Foofbags are made from tough durable fabrics, lined with Sherpa wool. Foof claim that their sleeves are so resilient that they’ll outlast your iPad. That’s a bold claim but I have no reason to doubt it. These sleeves are designed to be carried inside a bag or a rucksack, especially if it’s raining! With open-ended access to your iPad, you can slide your tablet in and out of the sleeve leaving the sleeve in the bag. This is excellent if you are going through gate-checks at an airport, want to check your emails regularly, or want to keep your iPad easily accessible in your school bag. Foof are right up there with eco-friendly production and business processes. Since 2006 they have been offsetting their carbon emission, and in the last reportable year managed to offset 100%, equivalent to 1158 tropical hardwood trees. Foof use 100% green energy at the point of manufacture. This electricity is sourced from wind and solar power, so not only is it green at point of use, it is also green at point of power production. That’s great going for a small Australian firm, and an obvious thing to do when basking in a region of almost continual sunshine. Texas take note! All that said, at the end of the day the thing I like most about foofbags are the look of them. They would make a great gift for a niece or a daughter, or even your girlfriend for that matter. They do a decent job of protecting your iPad from the wear and tear of going out and about. They are also machine washable (don’t forget to take your iPad out first…) At $31 including P&P from Australia, that’s a real groovy bargain. Have a look at them at http://foofshop.com/.
