iPad Accessories: Booq Messenger Bag for iPad is Truly Japanese

The Taipan Shadow XS is lightweight yet very durable. The main compartment allows your iPad to fit in snuggly and securely, and is surrounded by extra dense padding to ensure your iPad is properly protected. This compartment is internally zipped to keep your iPad in place. There are several other neat little compartments, perfect for carrying your other iPad paraphernalia such as your power brick and perhaps an external mouse or even one of the ‘roll up’ Bluetooth keyboards available on the market. There’s also plenty of room for documents, pens, credit cards, keys, even your groovy shades and some sunblock. A lovely little touch is a secret hidden pocket for your cell phone or MP3 player. That saves a lot of rummaging around in your bag, finally finding your cell phone only to miss the call. How annoying is that? It happens to me all the time… The exterior flap comes right over the bag and is kept in place by a strong Velcro closure. This pretty much makes the messenger bag weather proof. I defy any rain drop to get past the long flap closure and the zippered interior compartment! The bag also has a strong nylon shoulder belt with removable shoulder pads. This great messenger bag is available in black, charcoal and violet. I particularly like the black version, with its orange interior and orange external detail. A neat little feature with the Taipan bag is the ‘lost bag’ registration facility. Each bag has a unique serial number. If you choose to register this number on the Booq website, your bag is traceable and may be returned to you if it is stolen and later recovered, or simply lost. Ok, so the Taipan Shadow XS messenger bag isn’t really Japanese. But to me it has all the image and feeling of parading confidently around Tokyo’s downtown. It’s reasonably priced at $69.95.
