What you see below is a picture of the 60Beat Gamepad, which will plug into your iPhone or iPad to aid you in playing games.
Well, two games to be precise at the moment, but more title support is promised by February. The games are Bugdom 2 and Aftermath. For $50, it’s surprising that the controller isn't wireless, but instead plugs into the headphone jack. Madness!

At first I passed this off as a silly gimmick, but looking at the iPad games being released recently, it’s looking almost…promising. Stream GTA III anniversary to a big TV and the controller has potential.
Of course, you might be saying ‘$50?! I was playing GTA III on my PS2 a decade ago!’ and you’d be right. But GTA III was just an example; upcoming games can give way to what some might perceive as a new gaming system with the controller.
This plus the Apple TV might show signs of Apple indeed bringing all the media systems into one in the future, with a TV/game console/media player/Mac all residing in one machine.
Sounds like a PC to be honest, but I trust if Apple ever did it, they’d pull it off in a way that would seem innovative.
Would you pick up the controller for 50 bucks?
