Happening Now: Ten-Cent Android Games

Earlier this morning, news broke that some popular Android Market games, including Minecraft: Pocket Edition, were for some reason priced at a measly ten cents. A few hours later, Google has confirmed that the price point isn’t a bug – it’s part of a special app sale heading into the holiday season.

Here’s how it works: Each day, the Android Market will feature ten different apps, each available for ten cents. When the day ends, so does the offer; the following day will include ten new apps. So if you don’t see anything you like in today’s crop of titles, be sure to check in tomorrow to see which games are on the table.

Not all of the available apps are games – some are creative utilities and the like – but with 100 total apps being offered over the course of the next 10 days, it’s safe to assume you’ll find at least one thing you like.

I agree, I've mentioned this before in the past. iPad games work on iPhone/iTouch devices and vice-versa. Combine them together. I hate having to click into two separate sections to find out "news" for the same iOS.

And I also agree with the Android section. Android has been on the market for quite some time now and it competes with the iPhone. I'm not an Android fanboy, seeing as I have an iPhone and love it, but its like just having a PS3 section and leaving out the Wii and the XBOX360.

COMBINE IPAD AND IPHONE SECTIONS AND MAKE AN ANDROID SECTION!!!!!
