Cyber Acoustics iPad Case

When we recieved the Cyber Acoustics IC-1000BK Leather iPad cover/case, the very first thing I noticed was that this is not a lame vinyl case, but made with actual Leather.  The stiching is even and tight, and the seams are all clean.  Just handling this case for the first 30 seconds told me it was well put together. This case holds the iPad in an interesting fashion.  There is a large rigid plastic piece attached to the inside of the case.  Your iPad basically snaps into all four corners and is held tightly in place.  The plastic is firm but bendable, and I was able to tell pretty quickly that the ipad isnt going anywhere.  As seen in the photo, there are two small diagonal elastic bands on the left side of the case, that you pull over the corners of the closed case in order to keep the case closed.  In the absense of some sort of clasp, this does a good job of keeping the portfolio-like case closed snugly. Just as interesting, is how well the case works when opened.  If you fold the case completely open, and pull the same 2 elastic bands over the two right corners of your ipad, then the case is held open.  There is then a larger elastic band right on the back that you can slip your hand through, that gives you a considerable hold on the iPad while you use it. Alternately, while open you can slip the free end of the case (left side of the image) into a small holder that basically turns the case into a landscape stand for the iPad.  One angle great for watching videos, the other the perfect angle for typing.  Take a look at these images to see what I mean.

Keep in mind that this case has an MSRP of $39.99 and you can easily see why this case is an awesome deal.  I had been in the market for a decent case, and now my search is over.
