Construction Unboxing the Padprop will give you two cable covers apart from the Padprop itself. Being made of EVA foam the Padprop is pretty lightweight. By holding it you will realize it is quite tough and sturdy, so carrying it around in your bag will not damage it. A clever design feature is the storage compartment which can store your Apple earbuds at the back of the device. The buds can be pushed into the custom recesses and the cable can be wrapped around a central point. Putting the buds first and then the cable is an easier idea than vice versa. Using the Padprop Conventionally, typing on the iPad while placing it on your lap or a flat surface can be troubling especially since problems of stability and glare come into account. The unique design of the Padprop can make all this much easier.

To start using the Padprop, first slide it around the iPad from any side making sure the iPad is in landscape mode. The backside of the Padprop tapers into a ‘V’ like shape, the ends of which can be placed between your knees comfortably. You can change viewing angles of the iPad by sliding it up and down. The Padprop feels pretty stable moreover, giving you the flexibility of choosing the angle at which you find typing on the iPad the most comfortable. Your hands are also free at all times making the experience all that better. Apart from functioning as a stand to hold the iPad between your knees, the Padprop also acts as a conventional kick stand for the iPad. You can easily place it on the table, adjust the viewing angle and use it to watch movies.

There are only 2 issues with the Padprop. Firstly, you can only use it in landscape mode. Secondly, based on the position you have kept your iPad in, the home button may get covered sometimes. In conclusion, for $14.99 it is a pretty neat device. There are several features of the Padprop which will appeal to people. And is you are looking for something like this then the Padprop is probably the best iPad accessory in the market. You can currently get it in Charcoal gray colour and an orange colour will be available soon.
