A New Folio Case for iPad 2: Booqpad

The Booqpad combines the elegance of a traditional notebook with a case for carrying the iPad 2 in an elegant folio design. You have the option of writing down notes, sketching your latest product design or designing your next app directly with a pen and paper alongside using the iPad 2. It’s a combination of a modern tablet with a traditional one. The folio is designed so that there are designated places to store your pen, stylus, paper notepad, case, business cards and your iPad 2 of course.

The Booqpad is designed symmetrically so that it can be used easily by both left and right hand users. The Booqpad comes included with a 50 A5 sheet notepad. You can also get paper refills in various different colours. The Booqpad is definitely designed for creative professionals but can of course be used by anybody. The A5 sheets are the same size as that of the iPad 2 and are micro-perforated so that they can be torn off easily. As per Booq the various features of Booqpad include:

5 different interior/exterior combinations: sand/plum, coffee/cream, white/berry, gray/green and black/gray.
50 A5 sheet notepad which is made from 30% post consumer materials and have been printed using soy ink.
iPad 2 is protected and secured properly. Access to all buttons available.
Can easily store pen, cash, stylus, paper notepad, iPad 2 and business pad.

Additionally you also get various notepad options to choose from. These are as follows:

960 Web: useful for website, app and banner development.
5 MM-ruled: useful for writing and taking notes.
½ inch Rules: useful for note taking.
5 MM Grid: useful for 3D product and packaging development.
Blank Gray: useful for sketching with coloured pencils and pens.
Blank: useful for any kind of work.
These are available in 3 per pack for $9.95.

The gray/green and sand/plum are made using 100% recycled PET making them highly environmental friendly. The coffee/cream version is made of high grade Nappa leather. The black/gray and white/berry provide a weatherproof leatherette exterior. Booqpad will start shipping by the end of March and will cost $49.95 (for the recycled PET and leatherette versions) and $99.95 (for nappa leather version) depending on what you choose.
