  • Speed up your sentences:
If you want to be the fastest texter among your friends and associates then be aware that double tapping on the spacebar while typing a message will result in the insertion of a period as well as a space. This will help you save a little time.
  • AutoCorrect:
We all know what AutoCorrect is. But how do you use it? If you do not like the option that AutoCorrect shows while  you are typing a word then reject it by completing the word as you would like and then tap on the suggestion to close it. If you want to use the suggestion then simply type a punctuation mark or a space or tap return as soon as it appears.
  • Encrypt backups:
If you are interested in encrypting your backup data on iTunes then the process is simple. Connect your iPad 2 to iTunes and open the iPad on iTunes. Next, click on the Summary tab and then check the Encrypt iPad backup option.
  • Skip auto-sync:
You may not want to sync your iPad 2 with iTunes each time you connect it with your computer. To skip the auto-sync function hold down the Command-option (or Shift-Control on Windows) in iTunes once you plug in your iPad 2 to your computer. This will prevent iTunes from syncing for just this once. Another method is to drag the unlock slider while the iPad is syncing with iTunes. This will interrupt the sync and stop it.
  • Toggling data roaming:
If you have bought an 3G iPad 2 then you can switch on data roaming by going into Settings>Cellular Data in the event you want to use data through a different service provider in a different location (you may be charged for this so be careful). You can check the amount of data usage by going into Settings> then General> then Usage. For more interesting tips and tricks for your iPad 2 stay tuned on iPad.net
