OK, Yakuza fans. You can stop cursing at Sega for not saying anything clear-cut about a localized Yakuza 3. Sega of America's Aaron Webber has said the five magic words you've been waiting for: Yakuza 3 is coming West.

Sony has detailed the next PS3 system software update, Update 3.15. This one's optional, but it does have some nifty new features. Two of the things included in the update are a new data transfer feature and a minis emulator that lets PS3 owners play PSP minis games on their console.

Warner Bros. has released the first Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 trailer that includes actual in-game footage. Check it out after the jump.

World of Warcraft fans are getting the last major content update before the Cataclysm expansion today. Patch 3.3, dubbed "Fall of the Lich King," brings in the new Icecrown Citadel raid dungeon, where players can man up and kick Arthas off of the Frozen Throne.

BioWare has released a patch for the PC version of Dragon Age: Origins, bringing the game up to version 1.02. Included in the patch are fixes for various quest issues and tweaks for game balance. Kinda like how third-party peripheral companies went gaga over the Wii's waggle wand, it seems Sony has patented an large number of possible attachments for their upcoming motion controller. From something that looks like dual maracas to a possible solution to the "wand in one hand, DualShock in another" conundrum we saw during TGS '09, Sony's "Expandable Control Device Via Hardware Attachment" covers them.

A teaser website for SouthPeak Games and Renegade Kid's Dementium II has been launched to give you a peek into more horrible thrills and screams for  your DS. And it's just about time too, considering that the game is coming out in February of next year already.

Although Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3 and Xbox 360) has more or less gotten the approving nod of critics all over, some people are  pointing out what they deem to be a flaw in the game's introduction. The complaint: it's too slow. Game write Corey May, however, justifies the slow pace of the introduction. Check out what he has to say about it in the full article.

Not too many people are fans of the ratings board in Australia. And for good reason. They've been known to censor games, which would have otherwise been fine for other territories as a Mature game, or even refuse to rate them, which is essentially commensurate to imposing a ban on the game in the country. One such not-fan is God of War creator David Jaffe.

Homebrew coder maRk2512 has released a new version of his highly addictive homebrew puzzler QuirkDS and renamed it PuzzleBoy.  If you're not familiar with the game, QuirkDS is a remake of the old school Gameboy title, Kwirk.
