From the same PSP homebrew developer who brought us Custom Firmware 1.62 IE-D, comes Toggle USB Flash2/3 special system. The brains behind this, becus25, mentioned that "with this tool you can access via usb the Flash2 or 3 drive of PSP". Aside from that, you could also have access to the drive on read/write files mode and you could use this to toggle the memory stick.

A new week, a new screenshot for NCSoft's Tabula Rasa. Last week, we hooked you up with the screenshot of the Bane Interior Hallway wherein we saw the AFS soldiers fighting their way into the Interior Hallway. Of course, the Bane soldiers wouldn't let that happen. But enough of the trip down memory lane and on with this week's screenshot. |

Wii accessories have been sprouting like mushrooms lately - the most recent items to join the fray were Gametech's filter and port protection caps and three accessories from Dragon Electronics. Now, it's Japanese-based company Elecom's turn to join the bandwagon as they just introduced their silicon covers for the Wiimote - the HGW-001 series, HGW-002 series, HGW-003 series, and the HGW-004WH.
The HGW-001, priced at JPN¥ 1, 260 (about US$ 10.50), has a "band strap" so that the chances of the Wiimote slipping from your grasp would be diminished. It comes in three colors - transparent, black, and blue. On the other hand, the HGW-002, which sports the same price tag as the HGW-001 and comes in the same colors, is blessed with a grip design. The HGW-003 is basically the same, but it allows you to change your Wiimote's batteries without removing the silicon cover. The more expensive HGW-004WH has a price tag of JPN¥ 1, 680 (roughly US$ 14) and would be best used if you're going to use the Wiimote as the game pad. |

A few days back, we mentioned that Team17 is upping the ante by providing new downloadable contents for Xbox Live's Worms. Some of the new contents you could get are the Space, Hell, and Jungle landscapes and although two of them would cost you 150 MS points each, the Space landscape is free. Checking out Major Nelson's site, we found out just what Worms add-ons you could get. Some are free while some will cause you some MS points, but let's start with the freebies. Free

It was just like yesterday when we first mentioned Gamecock Media Group and the juicy games they will throw at our way. The group has surely came a long way - they now have an official website and they have released a teaser vid of one of their projects - Mushroom Men: The Spore War. Now, IGN reports that Mushroom Men will be officially conquering the Nintendo Wii and DS. According to Gamecock Console Chief Rick Stults: From the minute we signed Mushroom Men we've worked to bring it to the Wii and DS. ... Both platforms are going to give Mushroom Men a life of their own as [developer] Red Fly Studio is building unique stories specific to each system. The game aims to make use of the unique control schemes of each system - especially that of the Wii. The game has a wacky premise: the Mushroom Men war takes place at your backyard and the weapons will be made from everyday items that we don't usually pay too much attention at. Annihilate household pests with other forms of plants using your Wiimote or DS stylus. Here are some screens and artworks of Mushroom Men for the Wii. We'll surely give more updates about the game's PSP, PS3, Xbox 360 status as more info comes our way. |

The last time we talked about PSP homebrew developer Exophase was way back in January. After he released gpSP v0.9 for the PSP and after we cleared up the air about the Exophase-Takka gpSP snafu, we have not heard a lot from this amazing developer. But now, PSPBrew was able to have a short chit-chat with Exophase himself and he talked about gpSP development, StrmnNrmn, and other personal tidbits. The interview conducted by DarkPacMan77 started with the more personal questions such as Exophase's actual name (Gilead) and his age (23 years-old). Exophase also divulged that he started coding "around 10 years ago" and that he can't really explain why he started coding. He was then asked if he and Daedalus creator StrmnNrmn are working on something and this is what he said: To
be honest I rarely get to talk to him. I've tried but he isn't really
around, at least nowhere I am. I give him various ideas sometimes but
he hasn't really gotten back on most of them. Click on Full Article to read on more of the details discussed in the interview. |

By now, most of you have probably purchased Load Inc.'s offering for the Xbox Live, Mad Tracks. For those of you who do not know, this much awaited title has been set to be available in Xbox Live worldwide (with the exception of Korea) today. The fun wouldn't stop there as it would also have expansion packs (Bravo and Encore) which would carry 15 more races and mini-games. From the looks of it, Mad Tracks was surely worth the wait.
A few days back, we hooked you up with some of the game's car models and other tidbits. Today, we found a GameTrailers video of Mad Tracks dubbed as the Beastie Balls gameplay. So for those of you who are still on the fence about getting this game, we could only hope that this video could help you decide. |

PSP homebrew developers jojodu0010 and marc6310 have released v0.2 of their homebrew game Duck-hunt. Basically, you use the analog stick (or the d-pad, whichever you prefer) to aim and X to shoot - you get 35 points if you shoot the faster yellow bird, 20 points if you hit the red duck, 10 points for annihilating the blue duck, and -10 points if you shoot the black ducks. The game is so simple, you wouldn't even notice that the entire game is in French. Here's the changelog for Duck-hunt version 0.2:

Back in October, we shared with you the not-so-good news that the Halo movie was put on hold after it failed to seal a movie franchise deal with 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures. After this development, not much has been said about the planned movie which is supposed to be directed by Neill Blomkamp (who directed Alive in Joburg). But recently, Peter Jackson (the movie's would-be producer) talked to Stuff website about it.Jackson believes that since Halo 3 is going to be released later this year, 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures would again be interested with the movie project. If that's the case, then Halo 3 sure does have a lot of weight on its shoulders since analysts also believe that the game's sales performance would bring Microsoft's Xbox Division out of constant losses. The Lord of the Rings director also said that he and partner Fran Walsh will only choose to be involved with the Halo movie project if Blomkamp would be the guy calling the shots. Jackson said, "We wouldn't want to do it with anybody else. It'll be Neill's call". Well, that's all we have for now but we'll surely give you updates about this as soon as we get more info. For now, you're free to speculate if the movie would push through or be forever shelved. |

Today, we have here some more screens of the Wii and PS2 bound game from Capcom - a little title called Devil Kings 2: Heroes Gaiden. Indeed, more and more info about the game comes our way - unlike before. Hopefully, in the near future, the trailers and screens would come in a language that most of us would understand.
Anyhow, Devil Kings 2 is set to have a number of additions - additional playable characters, gameplay, and new gameplay modes. I personally must agree with fellow blogger, Rio S., when she said that we'll be seeing more elemental special moves and sword swinging samurai action - judging from the screens we've been dishing out. As of now, the game is still geared for a winter release in the Land of the Rising Sun. Hopefully, this game also reaches European and U.S. shores. But for now, here are Devil Kings 2: Heroes Gaiden's latest screens, courtesy of JeuxFrance. |
