It was disappointing to find out that the beta for Final Fantasy XIV Online would be limited to the PC version only. However, that was the case before. With Japan finally getting its hands on the (seriously) highly-anticipated Final Fantasy XIII, a lot are worrying that copies might be sold out even before they get to the queue. However, Square Enix president, Yoichi Wada, provides some reassurance as he confirms that they have foreseen this mad rush for the game, and so has set 1.8 million units to ship for Japan.
