Konami today announced another Yu-Gi-Oh game for the Nintendo DS: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia. The game follows a story arc from the animated series involving the reprise of the Dark Signers and their quest for supremacy over New Domino City.

The latest iteration of Yu-Gi-Oh! for the Nintendo DS expands quite a bit on gameplay features. Players now have 3,200 cards, including cards from the Absolute Powerforce series and three exclusive trading cards in package.
Online matches are supported via Wi-Fi connection. The online features also include leaderboards and a new ranking system that tracks win percentages against other duelists worldwide.
There's also a new Duelist Calculator to help quickly and accurately calculate attack and defense points. Finally, in Turbo Dueling, race mechanics have been enhanced to include obstacles, puzzles, hidden pathways and increased collection points.
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia is tracking a Spring 2010 release.

A fully localized version of the four-mission demo that Konami let loose during TGS 09 is now available on the Hong Kong PlayStation Store. If you're not too sure how to go about registering a new account on international PS Stores, here's a handy guide. [http://ntsc-uk.domino.org/showthread.php?t=75023]
After you've done that, look for "Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Demo-Ops." The file's 104MB.

xbl2Remember that 360 Live iPhone app that was released on the XBL by Xavier Larrea? You know, the one that got flack from Microsoft because the creator released the app for US$ 1.99, and not as MS would have wanted it priced? Well, he just re-released it, and this time, it's absolutely free.

ffxivshortIt was disappointing to find out that the beta for Final Fantasy XIV Online would be limited to the PC version only. However, that was the case before. The newly-opened signup page for the PC version (yep, right on the same day as FFXIII launched in Japan) reveals good news for PS3 owners and hopefuls.

finalfantasy13-thumbWith Japan finally getting its hands on the (seriously) highly-anticipated Final Fantasy XIII, a lot are worrying that copies might be sold out even before they get to the queue. However, Square Enix president, Yoichi Wada, provides some reassurance as he confirms that they have foreseen this mad rush for the game, and so has set 1.8 million units to ship for Japan.
