The November NPD results are in and we have the numbers. This months hardware and software sales is reported to be the second best November in history with the Nintendo platforms still leading the hardware department with the Xbox 360 back in third place. On the software side, as expected, Modern Warfare 2 tops the charts with a whooping 6 millions copies sold on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Homebrew coder SquidMan has released a new version of Neko Project II Wii, a homebrew port of the PC-9801 (PC98) emulator, Neko Project II. The latest update now supports USB keyboards and includes an updated control scheme.

With the big oh-nine winding down, publications are now coming out with their own year-ender countdown specials. Leading the pack is Time Magazine, and sitting prettily at the number one spot for Time's Top 10 Video Games of 2009 is Activision's Modern Warfare 2. Anyone surprised?
