It's been a rather busy seven days for the PSP homebrew community. The great homebrew hope is still burning bright thanks to Freeplay's hack for the PSP Go (that was fast, wasn't it?), and custom firmware users who don't want to upgrade to non-M33 firmware have steadily been given better and better chances of playing new games on their old firmware thanks to Yoshihiro's frequent Game Decrypter updates and the arrival of a new app called Eboot Patcher. Popular Mechanics has just hailed Microsoft's Project Natal as one of the breakthrough innovations for 2009. Not only do they see the motion control as a breakthrough in gaming for using the whole body, they also see its implications going far and beyond just gaming.

Nintendo's main man in America, Reggie Fils-Aime, is making it known that he's not that much of a fan of the PSP Go, characterizing its concept as problematic. In an article from The Washington Post, it is reported that Fils-Aime described the newest Sony handheld as having a "fundamental concept problem."

Taiwanese website NGG seems to have unveiled the last two campaigns for Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC), which I think were intended by Valve to be kept a secret until later. Namco Bandai has fully and officially unveiled their latest game for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, Clash of Titans. Yes, this would be a video game adaptation of the remake film starring Liam Neeson, Sam Worthington and Ralph Fiennes this March 2010.

Naughty Dog's so far consistently impressed us with the amazing quality of their PS3 games, limited though it may be (for now) to the Uncharted franchise. however, it looks like although they have sure found a hit with the adventures of Nathan Drake, the team dogs are out to bark at yet another tree.

Take note of this, guys. Yes, there will be a ten-car DLC pack and two new tracks to be made available upon the release of Forza Motorsport 3, just as Microsoft announced earlier this week. What was not announced, but was printed in the voucher card is that there will be 30 extra courses along with the ten cars you'll be getting in two track packs. This is just one persistent rumor. We've been hearing of this on and off for the past year now, and despite the (incomplete) denials, it keeps on resurfacing. This time though, it's getting a leg up with the help of Australian major retailer GAME. They have listed Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360 and PC) for the PlayStation 3 as well.
