Itching for that elusive God of War III demo? Those in Europe are gonna have to find something else to scratch with. Eurogamer reports that Sony has informed them that the God of War III demo will not be available in Europe for the rest of 2009.

 Homebrew coder gocha has released a new update of DeSmuME ReRecording, a Nintendo DS emulator for PC based on the previous version of DeSmuME 0.9.4. The latest update has added some new features and various other improvements.

SCEA has announced a new downloadable map pack for SOCOM: Confrontation is on the way. Known simply as the Cold Front pack, it will be loaded with new features and contents, including a brand new snowy Eastern European area of operations. It will also include two new maps and three classic SOCOM maps for 16 to 32 players.

Homebrew coder LemonBoy has released Taiko, an opensource NANDloader for the Nintendo Wii channels that focuses on the use with Wiiware/Virtual console channels. The homebrew is nearly compatible with any homebrew channel.

Sony has finally released the first official trailer of God of War Collection.
