Ahh the weekend. For those in Japan, their PS3s must be running non-stop with Final Fantasy XIII. I can imagine them smiling all by themselves heading home on the commute. Lucky them. In the mean time, there's us and the rest of the world stuck with watching videos or finding imports. For those doing the former, here's a good one - the opening cinematic for Final Fantasy XIII. |

Remember those Bromides you used to collect in Lunar Silver Star Story Complete? Now that the classic is getting remade as Lunar: Silver Star Harmony, Xseed has some room for some Limited Edition swag. This is a good chance to get your claws on physical copies of the good ol' Bromides as well as a soundtrack CD to complete your Silver Star Story. |

The Japanese have had their copies for a while now, but Wii owners in the US who've been dying of envy won't have to wait until the official December 26 launch to get one. GameStop has broken the street date for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. |

When it's not the one doing the cameo-ing, every time Phantasy Star Portable 2 on the news, it's gotta have something to do with some downloadable content from another company - from Pizza Hut to Famitsu. Well, since it's that time of year, players can add some Christmas cheer to their game by purchasing holiday content from the PlayStation Store - in Japan, just to be clear. |

When it's not the one
We've seen some pretty impressive racing titles in the Apple App Store lately, from the recently released Ridge Racer Accelerated, to Rally Master Pro 3D, from Asphalt 5 to Gameloft's Driver. But there seems to be something missing on the list. Hmn, let me guess, it's Need for Speed, baby! Check it out after the break.
Homebrew coder tombot has recently released a new version of The 15th Floor, an excellent looking homebrew adventure/puzzle game for the Nintendo DS inspired by titles like Myst, Crimson Room, and Hotel Dusk. The latest update is mostly a bug fix release.
