Details are being carefully kept under wraps at the moment to protect the new discovery, but homebrew veteran wololo has confirmed that it's legit and is hopeful that it could lead to a new breakthrough. |

Around this same time last year, Yoshinori Kitase said that they were exploring the possibility of DLC for Final Fantasy XIII. Guess where that exploration came to. If you're still out there hoping for costumes, an expanded Crystarium, or new Cie'th Stone marks to hunt down, it's time to give it a rest. Square Enix is not putting up downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII. |

Despite the change in Xbox Live's Code of Conduct, it appears Microsoft's banhammer still springs into action at the mention of the word "gay". Unfortunately for one 26-year-old gamer from West Virginia, he lives in a town called Fort Gay. Apparently, that's reason enough for his account to get suspended. |

In the last NBA Elite 11 dev diary, EA Sports and a few NBA stars went into detail about the matchup system of the Become Legendary Mode. But the path to the Hall of Fame won't be easy, you can't expect to carry your A-game every night, can you? That goes into the game too - if you suck, you'll have Setbacks marked on your created player. When that happens, you'll need Bouncebacks to get you back on track. |

Aya Brea looks nice in her jeans and all, but since her clothes can get ripped in combat, Square Enix is giving her something else to change in. Luckily, Final Fantasy XIII's Lightning is willing to pitch in. Shonen Jump said so in their latest issue, revealing that Aya will indeed be able to wear Lightning's outfit in The 3rd Birthday. |

We're a week into September and we're still not getting any substantial updates - that's unless you count the robo-gorillas and cross-dressing macho men. Rumors of a delay have begun to brew, and here we are with the confirmation. Mindjack has indeed been delayed to 2011. |

Spider-Man is cool, being the hero of so many games and all. But when it comes to the iPhone territory, nothing still beats catapulting a bird into a swine-castle in one well-placed shot. In this week's iPhone chart, Spider-Man: Total Mayhem debuts strong, but not enough to best the 18-week champ, Angry Birds. |

As many of you might've speculated, the sudden arrival of PS3 firmware 3.42 was indeed geared to block the hacks that have recently been developed for the PS3. Whether it's the Groove, the Jailbreak, or the PS Freedom, the firmware update has made sure that these methods have been effectively disabled. If you're using any of the above hacks, make sure you don't update. |

At the end of the Grand Slam tennis season, the play comes to the US with the American Open. At the end of June I reviewed another tennis game during the Wimbledon fortnight, Ace Tennis 2010. What a delightful little game this is. I’m guessing it’s been designed for female customers (or is that me being sexist) but I am unashamed to say I’ve really enjoyed playing this game. This is the fantasy realm’s answer to the Wal-Mart Family. Miriel is a humble shop-keeping girl with a gift for magical powers. As the storyline progresses she establishes her growing emporium of bakery shops, following adventures and solving puzzles / mini-games along the way. This is a gentle and relaxing game, but it’s anything but boring. It still requires skill and perseverance. Perhaps if your overplaying of first-person shooters is giving you nightmares, Miriel the Magical Merchant HD could be the perfect remedy.
