Ice Age 2: The Meltdown trailer available on marketplace

Most often, the film industry releases their trailers before the movie is released. However, it seems that 20th Century Fox has taken a different approach and let loose their Ice Age 2: The Meltdown trailer after the movie has been released (unless you live in Italy or Japan that is.)

The movie is available in 720p/480p for all regions except for Japan. According to the Ice Age website, it's not out in Japan yet, so wouldn't it make sense to have the trailer in Japan before the movie is released there? Or are they just waiting until after the release again...
