We're telling you now that the new iPhone">iFuntastic customizable theme homebrew app for Apple's iPhone is packing a lot of new features since our last update on it. The latest version 5.00 (r001) includes a lot of improved graphics editing and indexing tools to help mod your iPhone the way you want it look.
Just in case you're wondering, iFuntastic 5.00 (r001) supports firmware 1.1.3 and includes free unshackling upon installation of the program. Aside from the iPhone theme customizing options we saw last time, the app now includes new features like the iFundex and Graphinder, which can help you manage you image files a lot easier than before.
Anyway, perhaps it's better to just show you what the new list of features includes. Here's iFuntastic's fantastic new features as seen on the homebrew app's official website:
- Includes iFundex feature
- copies all files from the device to disk (great backup!)
- converts graphics (.png) and property lists (.plist, .strings) into readable and editable format
- quickly find files and folders by name, partial name or type with the shallow index
- use the deep index for a full text search of all text and property list files
- creates the Graphinder package
- save search results as file sets for quick access
- Greatly improved graphics editing and easier navigation
- directly edit graphics and text files and write them back
- create new folders and files
- duplicate or rename existing folders and files
- copy files and folders to disk
- replace files and folders with a selection dialog or by dragging from disk
- install applications by simply dragging them into iFuntastic - they will be made executable for you and are ready to run
- restart the SpringBoard with a single click
- create and execute your own bash scripts
- save sets of files and folders for quick access or to group them by theme
- set an anchor point to switch back and forth between two files or folders
- set your preferred graphics editing program and quickly open the file to edit
- Featuring Graphinder
- takes a screenshot of whatever is displayed on the device
- displays coordinates, dimensions and color values
- a loupe shows enlarged portions of the screenshot
- import screenshots made on the run with Son of iFuntastic
- Updated for 1.1.3
- added support for additional (on iPod touch) languages for application names
- handles applications and web clips
- applications are kept in a separate list, so you can have more than 4 pages of them; drag them in and out of the home screen to 'hide' them
- 'Switcher' has gone away - home screen packages are now managed by Son of iFuntastic (more below)
- icons can be small, medium or standard sized

- remember the custom file sets you saved in the File Manager? The search results from iFundex? The graphics sets from Graphinder?
