Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves took top honors in the annual Best of E3 Game Critics Awards with the "Best of Show" prize tucked firmly in Nathan Drake's belt. The game also received two other awards: "Best Console Game" and "Best Action/Adventure Game". Hit the full article for the other big winners.

We've already wrapped up our E3 coverage for this year, and it's definitely one of the best we've seen out of the event. But hold on, we've been too preoccupied with all the presscons, videos, blahblahs and what-have-you that we seem to have overlooked the hotter side of gaming. Here they are, stealing thunder from video games since tanktops and short-shorts - the booth babes of E3 2009.

Seems like I wasn't the only one of the opinion that E3 made a splashy comeback with this year's event. Industry bigwigs also expressed their satisfaction with how it averted near-disaster, and giving a great show despite the pull-out of some companies, as well as the threat of the A-H1N1 virus. It's over. It's done. E3 2009 has come and gone, and the worldwide gaming community is left to sift through the announcements, reveals, videos, hype and promises that came out of the yearly gaming expo this past week.

We saw Shigeru Miyamoto checking out the PSP Go back in E3, but apparently, he's not the only bigwig checking out the competition. John Koller also went DS-watching at the expo, but instead of quietly doing so like Miyamoto did, the director of hardware marketing from Sony takes a little shot at the competing handheld, saying that "Mature games are cratering on the DS."

E3 fever may be waning now, but the mass of news and assets are still trickling down the wire. As shown at the recently-concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo, here's the developer walkthough for Atlus' card-collecting RPG, Persona.

Lots of  folks from the gaming community expected Sony to announce a Playstation 3 price drop at this year's E3. So why didn't Sony announce anything regarding this issue? Well Sony's Peter Dille believes that E3 is not the right place to announce a PS3 price cut. Find out why after the jump.

It is not justified for us to be ending the week and missing an update on one of the biggest announcements that ever came out for this year's E3 Expo event. It is belated, yes, but it is still with great pleasure that we present to you the Golden Sun trailer for the DS.

You've seen Kratos fight off that big horned-snake tailed thing (as Glenn describes it) at God of War III's gameplay footage from the E3 2009 yesterday. However, you did not see Kratos tearing out the eye of a cyclops from their Virtual Booth Tour. Oh, yes, that's because Sony did NOT show during their press conference.
