Homebrew coder wplaat has recently released a new version of SpaceBubble, a homebrew board puzzle game based on the classic bubble breaker for the Nintendo Wii. Some of the features of the latest release includes -- added today top highscore screen, added functionality to trace game events, and uses the final build of devkitPPC release 19 and associated libraries.

Ok guys, it's finally here. The highly debated PSP Go exploit by FreePlay has been released. Unfortunately, Sony discovered the loopholes of the save game exploit and quickly patched the game (now known as Archer Maclean's Mercury) with the release of PSP firmware 6.20. More after the break.

In Insomniac Games' latest tweet, they hint of some form of Ratchet & Clank content from Media Molecule headed for LittleBigPlanet. On the outset, it looks like a level pack... and then some: "lbp levells coming, r&c content done, coming soon hopefully, up next for mm, big pack, bigger than mgs even." Yeah, leave it up to Twitter's tweeting maximum of 160 characters for giving us announcements that are a bit too vague. Let's parse that message, shall we?

Terminator: Salvation producer Dan Lin has rights over the next Tomb Raider movie, and from what he says, it's going to be a reboot. Oh don't act all surprised - we heard earlier that the new movie will be getting a fresh start. More details on this though: the way Lin describes it, Lara's new movie - an origins-type of movie - won't be full-on action but will go deeper into the character. Kinda like Dark Knight, perhaps? Well, what ever the case, you can definitely scratch Angelina Jolie from the role - they're looking for someone younger.

SCEA Home manager CydoniaX at the PlayStation boards clarifies certain issues surrounding Home-hopping across regions and the upcoming cabbage patch v1.21 update. Apparently there's been some confusion about Home content, and a bit of envy over other region's content like Prinnies and whatnot. Here's something to look forward to though, other than this week's patch: it looks like picture frames will come in during E3 2009.

If you've got plans of watching Terminator: Salvation this weekend (got tickets reserved yet?), you better make sure you get to the theater early. Everyone loves Ryan Reynolds Deadpool, don't they? The simple fact that he Shoryuken'd Kitty Pride in front of Logan (Snikt me! Snikt me!) wins instant cool points in my book. Here's a bit of treat for all you guys thinking in yellow boxes: a Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 trailer starring none other than the Merc with the Mouth himself. Yeah, fine, there are cameos of the other characters - Captain America, Iron Fist, Hulk - but whoooo caaaaares?! I'd have Deadpool Dragon Punch the lot of them if I had the choice!

Following screenshots the other week, we now have an actual trailer for Sims 3 on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Gotta love that neurotic Sim dude striking a conversation with a potted plant (0:30-mark). Weird Sims aside, EA Mobile has also revealed the release date for the game. The Sims 3 will be available on the App Store come June 2.

I actually did a double-take on this press release right here. Reading the title, I was like, "no way" and then "yes way" and then "whooooa." Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that the Fallout 3 DLC, which have been reaffirmed by Pete Hines to be exclusive for the Xbox 360 and PC, will now also be coming to the PS3 starting this June! And what's more is that not one - but two new DLC add-ons are planned after Broken Steel for all three platforms!

Grant Imahara, eat your heart out! ...Ok, maybe not, but this could potentially give the MythBusting robotics dude some ideas, at least. Someone's come up with a Kondo KHR-2HV robot which uses an iPod Touch as its face, controller input, and overall processing unit. Check out the video in the full article.

Wondering what Activision's got in store for Guitar Hero 5 to make it a cut above the rest of their games in the series (and Rock Band)? Well, I've been wondering too. What else can they add to spice up the gameplay anyway? Here's hoping we get to settle some band disputes, care of a recent press release. New game modes, partial set-list (praise the gods, "Sympathy for the Devil" confirmed!), and a ton of new info - it's actually more promising than some of you would expect!

The pirates have struck the X-mark again, claiming illegal booty with digitally ripped software. After hearing Rock Band: Unplugged's leaking into the Internet a month ahead of retail release, this bit of news brings another damper to the fight against piracy. It's been reported that The Sims 3 has now also found its way to torrent sites online, some two weeks ahead of its scheduled release (June 2).

High Voltage Software has revealed their plans for E3 2009. Via press release, they're announcing that they will indeed bring The Conduit. What's more is that they've yet to reveal a new game to the media, behind closed doors during the event. But what game is it? For what platform? One thing's for sure: it's going to be "beyond jaw-dropping."
