We've got some semi-bad news for Xbox 360 owners eagerly awaiting the Cagney update for Burnout Paradise (PS3, Xbox 360). According to Criterion Games, the update has been delayed by four days. Instead of July 10, Cagney will go live on July 14.

The PlayStation 3 version of the update is still on track, though. The update has been approved by Sony in the U.S., Europe, and Japan, so all that's needed is approval by Sony in Korea. The update will still go live for PlayStation 3 users on July 10.

Be that as it may, PlayStation 3 users will still have to wait until July 14 for the Game Calendar events to begin. Criterion is holding back on the events until the Cagney update is live on both systems so that everybody gets the same schedule of events.
