Yesterday, we reported that Konami's announced a new Castlevania title for the PS3 and Xbox 360. They did so by showing a 10-second teaser trailer. Here's a video of that teaser.

Wiibrew developer lnuxguy has released the latest version of WiiDoom, the Doom port for the Wii. Not a lot of changes in this version, but they are major changes nevertheless so you might still want to upgrade - if only to get the new crosshair feature. More details after the link.

Well, they always said good things come to those who wait. After completing all of the fine-tuning and further enhancement in Alone in the Dark's PS3 version, Atari and Eden Studios were prompted to give the game a bit of a name change (err, name extension, rather). Most of the changes are gameplay tweaks, but content-wise, it'll remain the same as all its counterparts ...except for one so-called "epic" bit during Episode 6. Homebrew developer Winnydows has released the latest version of XviD4PSP, the PC-based video converter for the PSP. There are several new features in this update, check them out in the full article.

Well this sounds familiar. Not a week after the game went gold, the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3 has been leaked and made available for illegal download on torrent sites.

And there we have it, folks! It looks like PSP firmware 5.00 is set to go live in Japan some time soon - probably on or before October 15. Says who? The official PlayStation Store Japan website.

Well this is a surprise. Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide Studios boss, said in a recent interview that he wants the Xbox 360 to succeed in Japan. Not only that, he also says that he likes the avatars of the New Xbox Experience, preferring them over Miis.

What happened to all the mud slinging between Sony and Microsoft? This is so unnatural.

Over at TGS, Namco Bandai's booth has a playable demo for Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Check out Gaara in this off-screen gameplay vid. Whoever's controlling him is definitely going cheap with those imploding sand bomb moves. Heh. Hilarious. Who cares if you're cheap with your moves - as long as you win, right? Kidding aside though, the graphics do look amazing - I'll give it that.
