It looks liker another strange bug has been spotted after World of Warcraft upgraded to game patch 2.3. As was reported over at the hunter forums, there seems to be a problem in-game where players are unable to eat and drink to regenerate their hp and mana.

Getting into specifics, the problem was noticed by hunters engaging in boss battle; the reports goes that they are unable to eat or drink, as the game considered them to be in combat mode.

The matter's quite an issue because unlike druids or priests, hunters are pretty much dependent on the said items to keep their mana stores from running dry during prolonged battles. This leaves them dependent on potions, although the cooldown time will still be a problem. Drop by again in case Blizzard makes an official announcement regarding this possible bug.
