Shamans in Blizzard's World of Warcraft, versatile enough to be healers, mages, or warriors, may also finally get more crowd control capabilities when Wrath of the Lich King goes live. According to Blizzard poster Eyonix, shamans may soon be able to clear mobs come the next WoW expansion.

One poster from the WoW Forums expressed concern about the absence of blue replies when discussing about crowd control for shamans. Apparently, as others pointed out, it's not the case since most already know that Wrath of the Lich King may give the shaman some CC love.

"Crowd control may become available to the shaman in some form for Wrath of the Lich King, but nothing is planned before then," said Eyonix. Among other changes the said expansion will bring about, this seems to be something big for shamans who are almost always considered as mere support.
