Zul'Aman raid conquered in WoW PTR - Image 1Word on the street is that World of Warcraft's upcoming Zul'Aman raid dungeon is now being conquered over at the Public Test Realms. Among the the guilds reportedly running the dungeon are Europe's Curse and Death Wish guilds, who also reported on the dungeon's loot and its relative difficulty level.

Loot-wise, the observation made was that most of Zul'Aman's bounty was somewhere between the quality you'd normally find for dungeons like Karazhan and Serpentshrine Cavern at item level 132. Each of the instance's bosses was reported to drop one epic, and 2 Badges of Justice that can be traded in for gear. The raid's last boss, Zul'jin the forest troll, drops 3 badges. The guilds further reported that the time limit rewards were on the same quality as the boss drops.

As for the raid's difficulty, it may be a little difficult to gauge as the two guilds report entering Zul'Aman with Tier 5 to Tier 6 armor sets. While this may have made it easy for Curse and Death Wish, it's still to be determined how players in the public realms will be able to handle Zul'Aman with the more common (and lower-levelled) Karazhan (Tier 4) armor sets. This appears to be a preliminary of what players can expect as Zul'Aman is put through its paces. Keep alert in case Blizzard announces any major changes in the near future.
