The World of Warcraft patch 2.3 went live a few days ago, and boy, it brought a load of stuff into the game. Of course, one big change was the addition of the guild banks. Some Changes were made to the WoW Armory to accommodate the said change, and then some.
When we think about banks in general, we think of security. The World of Warcraft Guild Banks also have that important feature for obvious reasons. A couple of tabs were added that takes users to a log-in screen and of course, you need permission from the guild master to be able to access the guild bank.
The Guild Bank contents are pretty easy to navigation since it features a coordinate system, a tab system, and even a search feature. There are six available tabs for a guild, though the guild master should purchase the said slots to be able to use them. For added security, the guild bank also features a log where every transaction gets recorded to easily keep track of activity within the bank.
Several changes were made to the World of Warcraft Armory for the other content additions in patch 2.3:
- Expertise Rating: This new combat rating replaces bonuses to weapon skill rating on existing items. Item tool tips should reflect this change.
- Bonus Healing items: Items that previously granted bonuses to healing effects now grant approximately 1/3 of that total as bonus spell damage as well. Item tooltips should reflect this change.
- A new Zul'Aman loot table page has been added. Note that this page is subject to the rule of how items become eligible to be included in the Armory; that is, they must be discovered in-game before appearing. Thus, this page will appear quite sparse upon the release of Patch 2.3 but will gradually populate over time.
- The Badge of Justice Rewards page has been updated with the dozens of new items available in Patch 2.3.
- New Titles: New achievement-based titles such as "Champion of the Naaru" will display in your Character Profile if you select it to display from the in-game menu.
