Windows Live Messenger PSPIn this day and age of proper homebrew, portals have somewhat gone out of fashion. Unless you're on an unexploited firmware, you won't need to use portals to do most of your things; proper homebrew is available for it. But for those on unexploited firmwares like 2.80 and above, the wait can be agonising. And that's probably the reason why portals are still made and used by lots of people.

And well, this will probably be one of those great portals. Apart from being almost a clone of Windows Live Messenger, it has a truckload of features which will make sure that you keep using it after you've downloaded it. Here's what the author has to say:

"Windows Live PSP Messenger is one of the best looking messenger applications available for the PSP. It retains the same look and feel of the GUI that Windows Live Messenger has on your PC! Windows Live PSP Messenger is also great for portal makers if they want to include a Windows messenger application as it is very compact (1.33MB) and has many features."

Here's the list of features:
  • Identical look of Windows Live Messenger
  • Handy web links
  • Link to P2PSP
  • Games (12)
  • Small compact size (1.33MB)
For those who create their own portals and would like to add this to it, it's still very much possible. You can just ask the author using the source link below. Anyways, here's the download below. Enjoy!

 » AFKIM? Live Messenger?

I never got AFKIM to work because it asks me a username that isn´t of MSN...

There is a lot of homebrew and this portal is very good in design but I would like a real app like the true Live Messenger and with a fast righting method.

 » cool?

mmm if you read the source code, you can figure that is only html frames with "nice" images taken from Live messeger, but the main frame is still eBuddy (eMessenger Mobile), so i don't get the point of this release, also is TOO EASY, to get name and password this way, beacuse you don't sign in directly on ebuddy, instead you send the lgin and password via forms, and if you change the recipient, you can obtain a lot of logins and password.
Also it reduces the screen size of the ebuddy menu...
EBuddy is a good solution for msn in the PSP, that's because the big amount of memory webmessenger use, ebuddy is perfect for a portable device with 2MB caché for internet browsing
