BioShock 2 - Image 1

2K Games has finally set your date with Big Daddy, but just like a real date juggler, the Big Daddies of BioShock 2 won't be ringing doorbells on the same night. The announcement was made during the publisher's conference call to discuss second quarter financial results, and it was Take Two CEO Ben Feder who made the confirmation.

Europe's gonna be the first date with an October 30 release, while North America will have to spend Halloween and All Saints' Day without it and wait until November 3rd for their turn. BioShock 2, expected to come to the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC, still has a TBA in Take Two's PR for Q2 earnings in terms of platforms. But I'm guessing they just haven't updated it yet.

When asked by Kotaku if the "TBA" is a sign that the game could become a timed exclusive, Take Two CFO Lanie Goldstein said, "In terms of BioShock, we're still working out what the right SKUs [versions] are and the right timing." Company chairman Strauss Zelnick quickly added: "No you shouldn't read anything into that."

Anyway, just remember - October 30th for Europe, November 3 for North America.
