anyone who seriously waits outside of a store for any new console should be shot and hung.
i work in receiving at sears and we only got 2 ps3s in, and 20 campers outside. i went up to sears at about midnight and told all those stupid *****ers we only had two. best feeling in my entire life seeing the faces of those *****ing idiots.

Its not a mad race to see who gets the first ps3, its a race to see who is first in line, I would think that they werent able to line up untill 10:00 or something, so they lined up across from the wall.

Yep, I had to do this same exact thing at the BestBuy in Cerritos, CA. It was really stupid though, because at 6:00am everyone made a mad dash to the front of the store from the sidewalk, but I was hiding in the bushes on the side of the store so when I ran, I was one of the first to the wall :)
but...
the stupid effing mall cops dispersed us because we weren't allowed to form a line until 7:00am. And then the manager came out and said we were guaranteed to NOT get a PS3 if we were at the wall before 7
Fortunately however, I made it to the wall the 2nd time and I was number 18 in line
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY PS3!!!!!!!!

I was there at the ames store until about 11:30. They had started a "so called" list. Basically it was a few people who stood outside and wanted to garauntee their spots in line so they thought they could make other people follow. Everyone above 26 the amount of units the store was recieving were being complete 1-holes to everyone who was told by the management that you couldnt line up until morning and that the so called list meant nothing. I however called the des moines best buy like 20 min away to find out there was only 5 people in line. So i decided to not put up with the bs and go there and ended up 14th in line and got one. The one kid in the yellow ended up bleeding all over the place.
