Not trying to start anything but if you look at Wal-Marts history when it comes to pricing, they always lower their prices then their competitors even if it means they are losing money and this is too get more people into the store.
Wal-Mart always have low prices and lose out on profits to just get people into the stores to buy other products in a tactic that pays off well.

$50 just isn't enough to buy this console. I'm was planning on buying either the xbox360 or ps3. Although I would prefer the 360 just because of available games. The cost of the elite + a wifi thing would put it over the cost of a 60gig ps3. And you still cant play hd dvds at that price. I'm going for ps3.

I used to play on my pc. I moved my pc to another room so instead of wire i bought a wifi card - bad choice - ping goes up a lot, constant disconnections, interferience specially with wirelles phones ( i mean home phones not cell phones). I don't know... even if i had a ps3 i would have it wired

One genre doesn't make you the winner, just take the X360 predecessor. All it had was FPS and it didn't do that well.

The $50 dollar price cut is still too expensive, just like the $20 dollar price cut for the HD-DVD drive, in the U.S its $179, who the hell will pay that much for a drive.

All the people buying the ps3 obviously don't care about the games if they buy it because it has wifi and a blu-ray.
If i wanted to watch blu-rays the pos3 would be a deal, but since I want to play games I bought a 360. Could someone please tell me how many games the 360 had at its release. There where not a whole lot more than the ps3. 360 has had a lot more time to generate a library. Just admit the system costs only a few dollars less than the ps3 currently does and your getting more for your money.
