Viking: Battle for Asgard first batch of screenshots

First batch of screenshots for Sega's Viking: Battle for Asgard coming your way. Like the trailer, the game continues to look very ambitious with a larger-than-usual epic feel to it (even the muscles look larger than the usual musclebound game).

The big muscled guy wielding the big weapons (that might as well have muscles themselves) is called Skarin, chosen warrior of the Norse goddess Freya.

There're only five screenshots in this batch for Viking: Battle for Asgard (PS3, Xbox 360), but it's very telling of the style (not to mention the violence - yeah, let's not forget the violence) of the game. They'll make good wallpapers at least. The game is slated for release sometime during Spring next year.
