If you like your gorillas, ninjas and piles and piles of pizza and burgers, this week's Wiiware and Virtual Console update will no doubt bring another dose of nostalgia and food onto your virtual table. In this particular Wii-kly update, WiiWare gets Major League Eating, while old favorites Donkey Kong 3 and Ninja Commando will be available to teary-eyed, nostalgic gamers through the Virtual Console.

Is eating a lot - and we do mean A LOT - one of your biggest talents? Better check out Mastiff's Major League Eating: The Game for the WiiWare if that's the case. A licensed game approved by The International Federation of Competitive Eating, Major League Eating lets gamers eat their hearts out in a virtual feeding frenzy. The game is rated E10 for Everyone and available for 1,000 Wii points.

Those who'd prefer their usual trip to sentimental lane, they can grab any of the two new Virtual Console games. Donkey Kong 3 introduces Stanley, a character desperate to protect his greenhouse flowers from ole' DK. In order to do so, Stanley must whip out his can of bug spray and force Donkey Kong away and off the screen. Donkey Kong 3 is available for 500 Wii Points.

The second VC game, Ninja Commando, is a nice old gaming gem from NeoGeo. Play as any of the three ninjas (Joe, Rayar, and Ryu) in the game to seek out and destroy Spider in several different time periods with the use of a time machine before the villain destroys the world. The ticket to save the world costs only 900 Wii Points.
