Ó

FIFA07Gotta say one thing about Britain - they love their soccer. And we're not just talking about the Manchester United fans - we're talking EA's FIFA 07, which takes the number one spot. This makes it the fourth year that EA's kept the lead at the UK charts.

Racing fans will be delighted to hear that Need for Speed: Carbon is tailing FIFA for the number two spot, another EA title...see a pattern? WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 in turn takes the number three slot, formerly owned by Pro Evolution Soccer 6, which has dropped down to fourth place.

And in the number five slot, we see Call of Duty 3 taking position, with yet-again another EA title taking sixth - The Sims 2 Pets. And for the guys who were beginning to wonder when we'd mention this title: Gears of War is at sixth place in the lineup, with Happy Feet tapping in at eight place.  Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy takes the ninth slot, with Cars at the 10th place.

I have that game and it rocks. EA finally got good at making EA games, because FIFA world cup 06 sucked ass.

 » All very nice but...

I think that we need more original games for the PSP. We have so many sequels and ports. Sony try their best to stop non-licensed developers but the most original works for the PSP have been homebrew applications.

We also need more quickie games, ones that we can play on a short trip.

I don't buy games for the PSP very regularly. The only games I've been tempted by recently were EA and Capcom's classic games selections, Lumines 2 and Ridge Racer 2...all of those are re-releases or sequels!

 » Nah EA?

EA Suck big time.
And btw, in britain it is called "Football" not soccer.
1. Its a ball, and it is "round".
2. You kick it with your foot (not hold it with your hand)

I love soccer. Soccer is so cool. Soccer is teh best. Soccer rulezzz. Only in the U.K would a soccer game debut at #1. Yeah, I know it's Football but, to me, that's just another lame-brain sport played in North America.
