Tony Hawk on GamePro - Image 1

QJ reader rizz0 gave us word that Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, the upcoming game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is going to be featured in the front cover of GamePro's June 2007 issue.

The issue is set to reveal details on Nail-the-Trick mode, skater classes, the game's full-featured video editor, the revamped multiplayer. GamePro claims they'll have many more to reveal about the latest in the franchise, but if we add that in, we'll sound like an infomercial... (But wait! There's more!)

Perhaps what's most interesting about this issue is that GamePro claims to have managed to get word from Tony Hawk himself. Supposedly they've got what he has to say about Neversoft's latest efforts. That, and his two cents on the state of EA's competitor, Skate.

The issue is set to come out on May 15. We'll give you the details (if they really are THAT exclusive) then, or possibly earlier (if they just give you stuff from the Interwebs, which we'll relay to you folks as soon as it floats.)

Thanks for the tip rizz0!

 » ...hmm

The only thing that looks interesting in this game is the video editor.

But after P8 (which was actually a step DOWN from previous games) I don't have high hopes for this game.
