Oscars, Emmys, Tonys... they pale in comparison to the power of the video game machinimator. He is the one who uses the best techniques to make movies from the limitations of an existing video game! It is he who deserves the honor of... a Mackie.

Yes folks, the 2006 Machinima Festival may have already ended, but the spirit of the machinima will never go away. In light of the achievements of famous machinima from all walks of videogaming life, from games like The Sims and The Movies to all sorts of Second Life and WoW weirdness, we've dug up the opening video for the festival. Strangely enough, a festival of this sort had to begin with much Ill Will.

Ill Will of Tra5hta1k played the host of the ceremonies, and in this opening clip, you'll get to see him with famous denizens of the Mackie community. Perhaps most notable of the fellows in this opening video are the faceless minions of Microsoft, also known as the heroes of Halo, the Spartans of "Red vs. Blue" and "This Spartan Life." Watch as Ill Will stumbles into world after world in the search for the elusive way out... and the path to a bathroom. Enjoy!
