Children have always played alone, for example with dolls or train sets, but these activities required a certain level of imagination - they stimulated their brains. That is not the case with modern computer games which do children's thinking for them and put them in their own little world. Without the ability to interact at a young age, they could struggle to form relationships later in life.

"modern computer games which do children's thinking for them"
Errr....no. That's a ridiculous stement.
I was thinking the same thing as Hunty. Why do people think we just push buttons for no reason. If they ever played video games they would understand they require a lot of brain power.
This is some old hag that has never touch a game with her old wrinkly hands. Get in a CSS game with 50 people and tell me I'm not thinking when I play...
"Without the ability to interact at a young age, they could struggle to form relationships later in life."
Who the f*ck wrote that bs, since when do games have completely no interaction in them? Some giant noob wrote this.
"but these activities required a certain level of imagination - they stimulated their brains."
Seriously, in games we receive such stimulation that for example, in a bf2 match where 30 people from the same team are making a massive front rush with tanks, helicopters, and mortar fire everywhere, we receive such adrenaline shot that u sonofab!tches cant even imagine it
today's children aren't any more screwed up than the rest of the world. mental health is at an all-time low.
Before games were popular, there was TV. Which do you think involves less mental activity? These scapegoaters really piss me off.
