Polish game makers CD Projekt RED has a lot of reasons to celebrate these days. According to their latest announcement straight from Warsaw, their action game The Witcher has sold 600,000 copies worldwide in just three months.
The bosses are obviously very happy. CD Projekt RED Adam Kicinski commented that the original goal was only to sell a million copies within a year, but the way things are going, it looks like the sky's the limit for The Witcher.
Kicinski says that the future is looking bright on the part of the fans, too. He assured continued user support, the D'jinni parallel module editor, more patches, and a "big surprise" by the end of Spring 2008. Can it possibly not be an expansion? We'll see.
The Witcher for the PC is a brutal and gothic action game that incorporates deadly fighting moves with fantasy elements. Playing as hero-for-hire Geralt, users will experience battling fiends for peace, survival, and booty. It's some bloody good fun if you ask us!
