He has tanlines?!

Graphic-wise, you know a game makes use of a powerful engine when you notice that your character actually develops a tanline under his tanktop. Yes, folks! Sam Fisher likes to go sunbathing. Well, maybe part of being a spec-ops agent requires you to multitask, and Sam Fisher just happens to make the most out of his mission by sniping out baddies and having that golden-brown sheen to skin at the same time.

Kidding aside, in lieu of the Splinter Cell: Double Agent trailer series, here's another one involving him stalking and creeping around in the dark bowels of a ship. Yes, that's gameplay. Sometimes, the video gets too dark to see anything but his goggles, but then that's the whole point of making it realistic. Ubisoft was even able to achieve the glare of moving out into the light after coming from a dark place.

Bah. Enough talkin', more sunbathin' shootin'. Watch the vid.

this game looks awesome. almost enough to go buy a 360. the grafix are really good and the physics of the water rushing out of the doorway after shooting out the aquarium is a nice touch. hmmm. may have to purchase the box.
