Drink up!When video games start bleeding into the world of refreshments... the results apparently aren't always as tasty. Literally.

Remember that time when THE thing to have was the Final Fantasy XII "Potion" Drink by Suntory? How everyone just wanted one so bad because of the pretty blue bottle that it came in? But when people started drinking the contents, it turned out that it had to be followed up with water because it tasted so horrible? Yeah, that one. Remember that?

Well, not to be outdone by Squeenix Square Enix, Capcom decided that they should come up with a gimmick of their own, and therefore released the Resident Evil T-virus Antidote/Energy Drink, as one Kotaku reader has found out.

The person who managed to acquire this wonder (hmm... could the T-Virus antidote eventually be bought from vending machines..? That way, we can start getting rid of the shotguns.) describes the taste of the contents of the can as "something similar to cherry medicine and watered-down sprite".

Whether this is part of the strategy to herald the coming of Resident Evil Wii is unspecified.

So has anyone else seen one of these?
