If the phrase "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" makes your skin crawl, then you've probably read some of H.P. Lovecraft's work.

Spain-based video game developer Mayhem Studio has revealed that they will be releasing a new adventure video game based on the Cthulhu mythos for mobile phones called The Call of Cthulhu: Darkness within Book 1.

The game will have players investigating the Old Religions in the Egyptian desert as a member of a paleontology investigation theme. A task which will take you to an antique city, recently uncovered due to an earthquake. Be careful though because one error can lead to a horrifying death, or worse.

The Call of Cthulhu: Darkness within Book 1 is expected to be available by this month. In case you're interested, here's a list of features the game has, as taken from the press release:

• A classic graphic adventure where player would fight against mysteries and unexplained murders.
